Chartered Physiotherapist Victoria Henderson in based in Canterbury and the surrounding Kent area. She has a many years of experience in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy in both the NHS and private practice. Victoria treats a broad spectrum of ailments from sport injuries, general aches and pains, to work and accident related problems. Musculo-skeletal problems treated include:

  • sports injuries, rehabilitation, tendon/muscle/ligament injuries (sprains and strains, tennis elbow, plantar fascitis etc)
  • neck and back pain, sciatica, limb and joint pains (arthritis, frozen shoulder, joint inflammation) orthopaedic and rheumatological problems, chronic pain
  • whiplash injuries, cervicogenic headaches
  • repetitive strain injury (RSI), postural and ergonomic problems

The physiotherapy clinic is situated within The Barn, Lower Hardes, Canterbury. Victoria, and her associate physiotherapists,  cater for all patients - either self-referred, through GP or consultant recommendation, or those with Medical Health Insurance.  Acupuncture treatment is also available.

Small Animal and Equine (Horse) Physiotherapy

Victoria has additionally qualified as a Veterinary Physiotherapist (ACPAT Cat. A).  Animal Physiotherapy (most commonly for horses and companion animals) includes the treatment of soft tissue injuries, back pain, arthritis, orthopaedic and neurological dysfunction, and performance related problems.
